What payment methods does Ezpawn accept? ›

Currently, we accept debit card and credit card payments (Mastercard and VISA). All items purchased online must be paid for online. Are any other fees charged for my online transaction? EZPAWN only charges applicable sales tax.

The main thing to know is that because you have put something up as collateral for your pawn loan, if you unable to pay it off by the due date, your credit does not take a hit. Instead, we simply keep the item and you keep the money.

No cash refunds. The Product Protection Plan is an optional product we offer in exchange for a fee on many purchased items that allows you to return an item for up to 6 months from purchase.

The loan amount that a pawnbroker offers will be based on the item's assessed resale value, often much lower than its original purchase price. If the item is approved, a lender will typically offer 25% – 60% of the resale value.

Pawn loans don't affect credit score. Pawn loans will never, ever impact your credit. If you fail to pay back your loan, then the pawn shop will simply reclaim your item. This means you don't have to worry about wrecking your credit if something comes up and you can't keep up with the payments.

Payments are accepted using cash or debit card. Credit cards are not allowed for any payments regarding pawn loans. We accept checks for rewrite payments; however, checks will not be accepted for final pick up and pay off of the loan. Payments can be made without the customer being in the store.

While there's no traditional "penalty" for not repaying a pawn loan, the main consequence is losing the item you've pawned. The pawned item simply becomes forfeited, and the pawn shop owner can now sell your item. However, nothing bad happens to your credit and nothing is reported.

Consequences of not paying your credit card bill

Whether you miss one or several credit card payments, the results may be similar, and some affect you in both the short and the long term. These consequences may include receiving fees, interest charges, and an impact on your credit score.

Sometimes, pawnbrokers may agree to “hold” an item longer for you, but agreements should be obtained in writing. Otherwise, after the last day of grace your item becomes the property of the pawn- broker. Your item may then be sold at whatever price the pawnbroker sets.

Can you pawn twice? ›

For many pawn shops the answer is yes. While pawn shops keep records of previous loans made, there is often no penalty or issue using the same item multiple times. If you end up needing quick cash multiple times, and you have an item that you are comfortable pawning, it might make sense to pawn the same item again.
